When I heard that Arizona was using 1864 slavery laws to prevent women from being able to have an abortion–I got kinda tense inside.
Then I decided to write a song. Be topical. A trendy song. Well, I did it yesterday. Then I recorded the guitar and drums and what I thought was the lead vocal.
Today, April 22, 2024 I put the vocals on and they are really fun to listen to. I was going for a crowd effect so some of the vocals are doing off-kilter harmonies. That’s what I call it when I stretch the boundaries. But to me, it makes them sound like a crowd, street traffic, reality. Maybe too real.
