Buddha’s Birthday is celebrated on April 8. In our Shaolin Kung Fu schools we call it “Buddha Day.”
Shaolin Communications has released books and albums on this auspicious day–which means nothing to Americans. “It’s inspiring for me,” says Buddha Zhen who is launching his new ONLINE KWOON at www.ShaolinInteractive.com “Since we teach a lot of Buddhism in our programs, it makes sense for us to at least release our products related to Zen Buddhism or the Original Buddhism of India.”
Online Kwoon Free Class
“As a birthday present to everyone,” chuckles Buddha Zhen, “you can take a free course. It’s a simple introductory class to our Shaolin Chi Mantis program.”
As for celebrating the birthday of Buddha, he adds, “Since Buddha is not a God, he won’t hear you. But just having a compassionate thought within you, is all that Buddha would have wanted anyway. So give yourself a present.”
And don’t forget to check out the ONLINE KWOON at www.ShaolinInteractive.com
Shaolin Chi Mantis is a very traditional Buddhist Kung Fu school. No initiation or head shaving is required unless you want to join the INTERMEDIATE LEVEL of Shaolin Chi Mantis and learn all the ancient Chinese weapons of sword, spear, whip chains and monk spade. Very few people have ever been able to complete the Shaolin Chi Mantis Beginner Program. Perhaps it could be a challenge for people to see how far they can go. It also will reveal how physically fit you are. Can you do the basic Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan exercises?
Tai Chi Magic ALBUMS by Buddha Zhen
Buddha Zhen is hoping to release his next Chinese music style album called Tai Chi Magic 2 to be released by Shaolin Records on April 8, 2022. “I’d like to release it next in 2021, but I need to sell more of my first album, Tai Chi Magic 1. We even built a special website for it in 2007 when the album was released. It was very exciting for me and my students at the YMCA and Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation Department where I taught a bunch of classes at Crescenta Valley Park. Somehow, we’ve got to get people to buy that album from Shaolin Records first?”
The second album TAI CHI MAGIC 2 by Buddha Zhen includes music written by BZ for his classes. The main song of the first album, Tai Chi Magic 1, was “Tai Chi Magic,” used for his Shaolin Chi Mantis demo team performances from 1994 to 2012. The second album has a really useful song, “Silkweaver’s 8 Brocade” used by his school and public demonstrations for audience participation in the world famous Qigong breath exercise form, “8 Brocade,” originally known as “Silk Weaver’s 8 Brocade Qigong” in China. Perhaps the ONLINE KWOON of Shaolin Chi Mantis will develop a fan base or international interest in this album.
